Future Plan of Centre for Medical Education (CME):

1. Training:
   1. Training of Medical Teachers:
      1. Assistant Professor- One month on Basic Concept of Teaching-Learning.
      2. Associate Professor- 7 days on Teaching Methodology and Assessment.
      3. Professor- 7 days on Leadership and Management.
   2. Training of Health Allied Professional (Nursing, IHT, MA TS, Homeopathy & Ayurvedic medicine)
   3. Training on Research Methodology and Publication
   4. Training on Blended Learning and E-learning
2. CME is perusing for establishing the Independent Accreditation Commission in Bangladesh as per the declaration of ECFMG, USA & Network of medical council of SEAR.
3. In future CME is also planning to start regular online certificate course (e CMEd), MMEd and PGDHPEd in distance learning approach.
4. CME has plan to establish a FAIMER regional Centre in Bangladesh for medical education in collaboration with FAIMER Institute, USA.
5. Establishing virtual library, virtual media centre, virtual teaching- learning centre, virtual faculty development centre are in future plan of CME as per need of the country to act as the mitochondria for Health Professions Education (HPE) in Bangladesh.
6. CME dreams to establish medical teachers’ training college and research center for medical teacher and allied health professionals to ensure quality teaching and research.
7. CME has plan to start licensing examination for fresh medical & dental graduate at entry level of health service and then in every 5/10 years for registered physician in collaboration with BMDC.
8. CME plans to develop a central question bank for quality examination on written, oral & OSCE/OSPE examination. 
9. YouTube inclusion of lectures on important medical topics and emerging issues
10. Implementation of faculty development & evaluation programme in collabarationwith DGME. 
11. Updateing of BDS curriculum and review of MBBS curriculum phase wise.
12. International indexing of CME Journal.
13. Act as an Hub for center for Blended Learning.
